The largest stable had all the necessary amenities and a peaceful atmosphere. The separate barbeque building was great for feasting. The outdoor space was excellent for enjoying breakfast. The shower had good pressure and the pillows were comfortable. The location was quiet and a short drive to a nearby town.

The location was fantastic, with beautiful views and a peaceful atmosphere. We loved being surrounded by fields of sheep and hearing their gentle sounds. the bed in our room was incredibly comfortable and cozy, ensuring a good night's sleep. the complimentary coffee and tea provided were of great quality.
There were a few aspects that we didn't particularly enjoy. the cleanliness of the room left a lot to be desired, with dirt, crumbs, and dog hair on the pull-out sofa bed.

The location of the hotel is great, with open fields facing the stables, allowing guests to let their dogs run free. It is also conveniently located close to a pub, where the food is lovely and the staff friendly. the property is clean, with a well-maintained gas BBQ and a welcoming pack with useful information.
The stable's temperature can be quite cold as the heater tends to cut off and the hot water runs out quickly during showers.

I had a pleasant stay at Newlands Farm Stables. The location was great, offering peaceful surroundings and beautiful scenery. The accommodation was clean and had great facilities, perfect for a dog-loving family like ours. We especially enjoyed the large field nearby for our furry friend to play in. Despite the proximity to railway tracks, the overall atmosphere was quiet and relaxing. The little touches like playing cards and outdoor seating added to the charm of the place. So, if you're looking for a peaceful and pet-friendly getaway, I would definitely recommend this hotel. I had a great time and would love to come back in the future.

We had a wonderful stay at Newlands Farm Stables. The cozy and clean Heather Barn was perfect for our group. The independent seating area with a BBQ provided a picturesque view of the countryside. The well-equipped kitchenette and sofa bed made it convenient for family accommodations. The staff went above and beyond by delivering our ASDA order to our door, which was greatly appreciated. The fresh milk and chocolates in the fridge were a lovely touch. We look forward to returning and experiencing one of the larger properties in the future.
We strongly recommend this hotel.

Booked for a 3 night stay. Location was good for getting out and about in the lakes. The stable was lovely, clean, and had a well-equipped kitchenette. Own outdoor area with BBQ, fire pit, and bench. Peaceful location but still within a short distance of a town. Helpful hosts who gave great local advice. Comfy rooms and beds, modern bathrooms. Lovely pub with delicious food nearby. Quiet once inside. Owner kindly posted forgotten items. Would definitely stay again.
Strongly recommend this hotel.

The location of the accommodation was convenient for exploring nearby towns and attractions such as Windermere and Kendal. It offered a great outdoor space with bbqs and fire pits that were perfect for enjoying the evenings and cooking breakfast. the stables were unique and provided a quirky and pleasant stay.
The proximity to the train line caused some disturbances during the night, making it difficult to relax and get a good night's sleep.

The views from the accommodation were stunning, offering a peaceful and picturesque setting. Additionally, the ability to use fire pits was a great feature, allowing for cozy evenings spent outdoors. The quiet neighborhood added to the overall sense of tranquility during the stay.
The bed was noisy and wobbly, which made it uncomfortable. There were also reports of mold on the shower seals and limited hot water, which could be inconvenient, especially for those with longer hair.

My recent stay at Newlands Farm Stables was fantastic. I was visiting the Lakes and this hotel was in a great location for exploring the area. The accommodations were spacious and well-equipped, with high-quality furnishings. I especially appreciated the floor heater, which kept me warm during the colder evenings. The shower had hot water, although it didn't last for a long time. The hotel also had a secure paddock for dogs, and my furry friend was welcome and comfortable here. The highlight of our stay was watching the talented sheep dog herding the sheep, it was truly fascinating.
I would be happy to recommend this hotel.

The location was fantastic, with easy access to nearby attractions and a supermarket. The converted stable was beautiful, with a cozy double bed, en-suite bathroom, and a charming little sofa. We enjoyed the quiet area and were pleasantly surprised that the nearby train line did not disturb us. The free onsite parking was convenient, and we appreciated the good phone signal and wifi connection.
There were a few downsides to our stay. The cleanliness of the room left much to be desired, with dirt, crumbs, and even dog hair in the pull-out sofa bed.

The location of the hotel was ideal as it was centrally located and close to the places we wanted to visit. We also appreciated that it was very pet-friendly, with an adjacent empty field where we could let our dogs roam freely. The view from our doorstep was beautiful, and we loved the designated dog walk along the side of the property. the hotel was clean, tidy, and welcoming.
Another negative aspect was the strong smell of smoke from the fire pit outside, which managed to seep into the room even when the door was closed. Lastly, although the hotel provided basic cooking facilities like a microwave and BBQ, it would have been nice to have a small hob or convection oven for more cooking options.
